  • Pedestal takes a change

    Posted on October 20, 2013

The original ‘two arch’ design of the pedestal has been adapted to include a third arch. This third, or center arch, will allow more symmetry and be more defining. Highlighted in this front and center arch will be a sculptured low relief bronze panel. This panel will also be home to a poem of welcoming and descriptive lyric, sharing the message of providence. As part of the monuments fundraising, a contest will be held to procure this poem and poet. The date for this contest has not yet been decided. Anyone interested may sign up for email notification of the event.

Email- with the word ‘poem’ in the subject line.
